This year’s Oscars may be the most unforgettable one to date, but shocking faux pa aside, it was still a glorious night that celebrated the greatest in cinema this past year (and perhaps, the most glamorous red carpet as well). And in honor of the Oscars’ best supporting and lead actresses, we’re keeping the curtains up and the spotlights on, helping them bask in their California celebrity lifestyle.
Viola Davis (Best Supporting Actress, Fences)
Viola Davis has already been nominated for two Oscars – one for Best Supporting Actress for her work in Doubt (2008) and another for Best Actress for her role in The Help (2011). She is also a Broadway actress who won a Tony for her portrayal of a married woman fighting for her right to an abortion in King Hedley II (2001). Viola currently stars as Annalise Keating, a law professor and high-profile defense lawyer in the ABC legal-drama series, How to Get Away With Murder which won her an Emmy Award in 2015.
In Fences, The 51-year-old actress plays a long-suffering Hill District wife and mother whose love and loyalty are put the test. Viola, who wore a stunning red Armani Privé off-the-shoulder gown, is the first black woman to win an Oscar, Emmy, and Tony for acting.
The Oscar winner was reported to have purchased a home in Toluca Lake last year. According to the L.A. Times, the two-story European-inspired home sits on nearly half an acre of land. The sprawling estate includes a custom theater with a 4K projector, a 600-bottle wine cellar and a saltwater pool.

Emma Stone (Best Actress, La La Land)
Born in Scottsdale, Arizona, Emma Stone snagged her TV breakthrough role when she won the part of Laurie Partridge in the VH1 talent show In Search of the Partridge Family in 2004. She had her movie debut in Superbad (2007) and established her A-list status in her lead role in Easy A (2010).
Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling (first paired in Crazy, Stupid Love in 2011) reprised their onscreen tandem in La La Land where the 28-year-old actress plays an aspiring actress who serves lattes to movie stars at a coffee shop in the Warner Bros. lot. And on Sunday night, dressed in an Alexander McQueen Swarovski crystal-embroidered gown, she accepted her very first Academy Award.
Emma currently lives in L.A. where she gave us a virtual tour of her charming apartment, featuring details such as a dainty wrought iron gate, an Italian-inspired courtyard entrance and cozy, minimalist-chic interiors in Vogue’s famous “73 Questions” interview.
