Enjoy great music and delicious food at Napa Valley’s popular BottleRock festival

In 2013, the inaugural BottleRock music festival took place in Napa Valley, California. Every year since, music lovers have flocked to the Napa Valley Expo to attend the three-day festival, which is characterized by bands and musicians, craft beers, delicious food, wine, and activities.

Musicians and Performers

This year’s festivities, which will take place May 24th to 26th, will be headlined by Neil Young, Imagine Dragons, and Mumford & Sons. A slew of other musical mavens from Neon Trees to Midland to OneRepublic will also be performing.

Activities and Events

In addition to the musical lineup, there will be plenty of one-of-a-kind activities in which to participate. There are a silent disco, art collections and displays from prolific artists, and even an onsite spa that offers foot and body massages, mini facials, hairstyling, hydration therapy, glitter makeup, and festival jewelry. It’s the ideal place to relax after a jam-packed day or perfect one’s hair and makeup look.

Food and Drinks

After the musicians and events, the culinary and drink lineup is the most anticipated part of the festival. Since Napa Valley has more Michelin stars per capita than any other wine region in the world, it’s only natural that the food at BottleRock is second to none.

This time around, there will be sushi from Morimoto, fried chicken and other bites from chef Thomas Keller’s Ad Hoc, and even bites from the three-Michelin-starred Restaurant at Meadowood. There will also be more casual fare, such as burgers from Burger Patch and Indian street food options from Curry Up Now.

There’s going to be plenty to satisfy sweet tooths, too, including doughnuts from Boon Fly Cafe and Johnny Doughnuts, cookie sandwiches from Sweetie Pies Bakery, and sweet confections from Kara’s Cupcakes. Since festival attendees may need some caffeine to keep them buzzing, Ohm Coffee Roasters will be on hand.

Of course, no event in Napa Valley would be complete without a generous wine selection. There will be a slew of offerings from Blackbird Vineyards, Napa Cellars, Art House Wines, Duckhorn Portfolio, and other local wineries. Those who prefer beer will find plenty of options as well: Blue Moon Brewing Company, 21st Amendment Brewery, Stone Brewing, Coors Light, and several others will be setting up shop there. There will also be cocktails and a bourbon bar.
