In 1924, Italian immigrant Gaspare Indelicato planted a vineyard in Manteca, California that eventually jump-started his career in the California wine industry. In the decades since, Gaspare’s children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren have carried on his dream by fielding the vineyard and winery. In the 1960s, the parcel was home to a large equestrian center. Today, the riding area now holds wines instead of horses, but the legacy of the property lives on.

On Saturday, December 7th, the Black Stallion Estate Winery will hold a Holiday Open House and Art Show. The event, which takes place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., will feature Christmas decor, holiday bites, artwork from local artists, and plenty of holiday cheer. Tickets cost $30 per person or $25 for Napa Neighbors, while Wine Club members will receive two complimentary tickets. (Email [email protected] to reserve spots.
