According to REALTOR® Magazine, Realtors across the country spend more than $510 million each year on home closing perks for clients. Most realtors rely on the usual items: gift cards (59.5 percent), flowers or plants (37.2 percent), and gift baskets (36.7 percent).

Being one of the Sotheby International Realty® Top 25 Agents for closed transactions last year, I have celebrated closing with many of my clients. When contemplating what to give each client as a gift upon closing, I follow the advice of best-selling author, speaker and activist in the fields of self-development, personal freedom and human rights, Bryant McGill, “Giving is the master key to success, in all applications of human life.” Here are 5 of my favorite closing perk gifts:

1. Elaborate and Theme Inspired Dinners
