Napa Valley's Jameson Rescue Ranch Annual Holiday Animal Food Drive

In this season of giving, it’s important not to forget about animals in need. Napa Valley’s Jameson Rescue Ranch answers the call to help animals in our community through its annual holiday animal food drive, lovingly called “A Season of Giving ~ Helping Animals in Need.”

It’s easy. Throughout the months of November and December, this 501c3 organization asks Napa residents to just donate food for cats, dogs, horses and other farm animals at the following locations:

• Browns Valley Market Napa
• Wilson’s Feed Store Napa
• Simplebliss Napa
• Healthquest Fitness Center Napa
Pet Food Express, Napa
• Soda Canyon Store
• Bardessono Yountville
• 750 Wines St. Helena
• Cal-Mart Calistoga

Jameson Rescue Ranch is a compassionate, no-kill rescue and sanctuary for homeless and rescued companion and farm animals. Even if you are not looking to become a forever home for one of these needed animals, there is so much you can do to help. Right now, the ranch is asking for both wet and dry cat and dog food, treats, apples and carrots. For more information about the holiday food drive, contact Monica Stevens at [email protected] or 815-8153.

You might also want to consider volunteering to make a difference in the lives of the homeless pets and animals living at the Ranch. They always need volunteers to help with the daily chores around the Ranch and are also in need of foster parents. The Ranch also accepts monetary donations.

In this season of giving, let’s not forget the famous quote from Gandhi: “The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated.” I am so impressed with Napa Valley’s Jameson Rescue Ranch. I encourage you to help out in any way you can. If we all pitch in, we can make a difference.
