Soak up the very best that summer has to offer by attending the 31st annual St. Helena Summer Concert Series, a calendar of musical performances that are held the second and fourth Thursday through August at Lyman Park. From reggae-style fusion to an R&B orchestra, the concert series offers a unique experience for every kind of music lover. Every family-friendly performance is free and open to the general public.

Who to See

Un AmOur

Un AmOur blends reggae, rock, and island-style funk with lyrical music for an unforgettable, catchy sound that will make listeners want to sway and dance along with them. The reggae fusion band seeks to use music as medicine to promote peace and understanding by engaging listeners with soulful tunes that speak to deeper truths. The event will be held on Thursday, August 8 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Grove Valve Orchestra

Grove Valve Orchestra is an 11-piece funk and R&B orchestra that hails from Emeryville, California. Named the Best Corporate Band in America, Grove Valve Orchestra brings hip-shaking fun to each performance. Their performance, which marks the final St. Helena Summer Concert Series event of the summer, will take place on Thursday, August 22 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

What to Eat

Serving as a welcome gathering spot for summertime fun, every event will feature food trucks, farmers market vendors, complimentary desserts, wines, and more for attendees to enjoy. Favorite dishes include the Italian cuisine from the Clif Family Bruschetteria truck and ribs and chicken from Signature Smoke BBQ. Guests may also pack and bring their own picnic to enjoy under the sunset.

What to Bring

These performances are outdoors, so make sure to bring lawn chairs or a blanket before you head to one (or both) of the musical celebrations. It’s the perfect way to celebrate the warmer weather and longer days with your family and friends.
