Ring in the fall season at this popular local event
From springtime flowering of the vine celebrations to sit-down dinners at top wineries, the world-famous Napa Valley region features a never-ending roster of events designed for wine lovers. But harvest is the real attraction, with wineries and vineyards alike going all out to celebrate the annual occasion. From grape-stomping sessions to harvest balls, wineries and vineyards offer plenty of harvest-themed events to celebrate the beloved season.
Cities often join in on the fun planning events that highlight local wineries and attractions. Case in point: on Sunday, September 8, the Calistoga Chamber of Commerce will host its sixth annual
Calistoga Harvest Table to celebrate the upcoming harvest season. The one-evening-only event will kick off with an open-to-the-public happy hour hosted by Calistoga AVA Wines at 4:30 p.m.
When the dinner bell rings at 6:00 p.m., those who have purchased tickets ($125 to $175 per person, depending on the restaurant) in advance will be seated at long tables located in the middle of the city’s downtown. Nearly a dozen local restaurants are participating in the food-centric festivities, including
All Seasons Bistro,
Cafe Sarafornia,
Calistoga Inn,
Checkers Restaurant,
Evangeline,
Hydro Bar & Grill,
Lovina,
Napa Valley Crust,
Sam’s Social Club, and
Veraison.
Designed with foodies and oenophiles in mind, the event will introduce attendees to mouthwatering dishes paired with fine wines from more than 40 wineries in the area. After sampling plenty of wines from local wineries, guests can remember their favorites for an upcoming wine tasting or vineyard tour in the region.
The culinary event will last until 10 p.m., which means attendees will have the chance to converse with new friends as they sip wine under the harvest moon. It’s an unforgettable soiree that is certain to get guests excited for the upcoming harvest season. A portion of the proceeds from every ticket will benefit
Calistoga Cares food pantry.
