4 Napa Valley Wineries with a Twist

These Napa Valley Wineries offer new experiences you won’t want to miss!

A handful of Napa Valley wineries have been recently remodeled in order to create unique and innovative experiences for their visitors. Avoid the stuffy stigma of dated venues and enjoy the new and exciting ambiance of these four wineries with a twist. Whether you’re hoping for a breathtaking view of Wine Country, walls lined with trendy vintage photographs, or a specially-crafted farm-to-table menu, these wineries offer a variety of elements sure to impress everyone.

1. Castello di Amorosa

After 15 years of construction, the Castello di Amorosa estate opened its doors to wine lovers. From first-time tasters to long-time connoisseurs, many Napa Valley visitors and tourists stop by the Castello di Amorosa. This authentically-styled Tuscan castle hosts highly sought-after private tours of the estate with a variety of tasting experiences. For example, one tour ends with a wine and food pairing in the elegantly-decorated Royal Apartment of the castle. For the perfect end to your tour and tasting, explore the property’s expansive patio and admire the breathtaking views of Wine Country.

2. The Prisoner Wine Company

The Prisoner Wine Company is a unique 40,000-square-foot building that has been transformed into a modern and industrial winery. The aesthetic is complete with high ceilings, various metal elements, and natural woods. In addition to a large tasting room, the Prisoner Wine Company has a myriad of impressive entertainment options. From relaxing by the fire pit to shopping for goods from local artisans, the Prisoner Wine Company has it covered. Be sure to make an appointment when you’re in Napa Valley.

3. Del Dotto Vineyards

Del Dotto Vineyards is family owned and operated. The warmth of the family emanates the property and is demonstrated by home-grown ingredients and family-crafted meals. In fact, Del Dotto Vineyards grows vegetables in their garden to pair with wine, and they feature grandma’s handmade ravioli on their menu. The Del Dotto property is more than a winery--it’s also home to hand-dug caves. These caves are instrumental in the wine aging process.

4. Tank Garage Winery

Once a 1930s service station, Tank Garage Winery is one of the most unique wineries around. Featuring a vintage motorcycle, original gas pumps, and a retro pinball machine, Tank Garage Winery has quickly become one of Napa Valley’s target wineries. The Art Deco style of the building is enhanced with Prohibition-era photos of Napa Valley and a speakeasy-style bar. Plus, live musicians perform every Friday at no cost. Are you ready to experience vintage California’s cool culture in a new and creative way? If so, be sure to put Tank Garage Winery on your list of Napa Valley wineries to visit.
